Italian Bowl 2025

Get ready, Toledo! The excitement of Italian American football is coming back as the 44th Italian Bowl takes place at the University of Toledo’s Glass Bowl Stadium on Saturday, June 28, 2025. This championship game will feature the top teams from the Italian Football League (IFL) competing for the prestigious Gionni Colombo Trophy.
Game Day Schedule:
12 – 3 p.m.: Tailgating festivities in Lot 6, featuring food trucks and live entertainment by the Skittlebots. Lot 6. Appearance by SpongeBob SquarePants.
3 p.m.: Kickoff for the Italian Bowl XLIV. During halftime, the winners of the People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice restaurant competitions will be honored.

Taste of Italy Restaurant Weeks (June 15–28): Savor the region’s finest Italian cuisine and vote for your favorite dishes.
Mayor’s Cup Competition (June 14, 2:00 PM): Watch local mayors from Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan compete in a punt, pass, and kick contest at St. Francis de Sales High School.
Youth Football Camp (June 27, 10:00 AM): Young athletes aged 8–14 can participate in specialized football sessions at Start High School.
