DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, July 11\, 2026\, the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Commission will bring back the very popular character hike at the Battlefield to honor America250.  Come and meet historical figures and learn how this truly significant battle changed their lives.  The program includes a guided hike to meet a number of characters along the battlefield trail to learn their stories both at the time of the battle in 1794 and after. \nWhat a great way to experience the early history of this part of the country\, and to continue to celebrate America250! Tours will leave from the Visitors’ Center every 20 minutes. \nTickets are available at www.watervillehistory.org .  Kids 17 and younger are free.
