More than a comedy troupe, they’re a grassroots movement breathing new life into the local arts scene with monthly shows, inclusive workshops, and classes for everyone from teachers to retirees. “People need a space to be seen and to laugh again,” says GCI student Floyd Anderson. In the tradition of improv pioneers, GCI proves that presence, trust, and connection can be powerful tools for resilience. No headliners, no egos—just real people saying “yes-and” in a world that often says no.
