Arthur Murray Toledo

More than a Hidden Gem, Arthur Murray Toledo is a reemerging jewel! That’s right, after more than 40 years, Arthur Murray Dance Studio is back in the northwest Ohio community, providing more options of things to do.
“There’s a resurgence in connecting with people. People are looking for healthier lifestyles and things to do that are fun and that connect you to one another better,” said Damian Sanderson, owner of the Toledo franchise studio, on the comeback. “Get away from the phones, put them down for a second. Unplug. Hold hands. Look at each other’s eyes. Laugh. Giggle.”
The studio is upholding the organization’s 114-year legacy with over 30 different styles of dance being offered. Any dance that can be done with a partner is taught at the studio, including the waltz, swing, cha-cha and so much more.
The studio even offers opportunities to learn trending line dances that range from country to R&B so you can be ready for any social event.
“Our system is set up as a personalized plan that can get you from ‘day one’ to ‘a day of fun’,” said Sanderson. “For some people they just want to be able to participate on any dance floor. Other people are here to grow and show up for themselves. And for other people it is a casual reconnect.”
Classes vary in size, offering everything from one-on-one instruction and group sessions to practice parties and events, depending on one’s preference. In addition, Arthur Murray Toledo understands the variety of lives that students may live outside of dance, and offers family-friendly accommodations, including a toy- and smart TV-equipped playroom.
“Parents who just need 45 minutes to be able to just slide in are going to find that it is really easy,” explained Sanderson.
The studio also has a partnership with a local childcare service.
Whether your dance experience is currently non-existent, average, or expert, as long as you have the desire to learn the art of dance, you have a place at Arthur Murray Toledo Dance Studio.
